I cross ocean, poor and broke,
Take bus, see employment folk.
Nice man treat me good in there,

Welfare say, "You come no more,

Illegal immigration is more of a problem in the UK than The USA. We do not have the room nor the financial clout to maintain this. We are also too soft and should immediately throw all illegals out immediately without recourse to legal requirements. The very fact that these are illegals trying to leech off the british tazpayer is enough reason to ship them back to France and beyond. Our government is too scared of Europe and the "implications" to stand up and fight this problem. All out NOW!

Pretty much the same here. They cannot work without a tax code, national health number, national insurance number AND a permanent address. BUT, there are people out there who employ them cash in hand.

Sure they can, they just use someone else's Social Security number or get paid under the table.

You know about the college deal where if you're from out of state, you pay regular tuition, and if you live nearby, you get in-state tuition and pay less? Well get this. ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS are allowed to go to our colleges and, as an example for UCLA, with around 35k a year in price, illegal immigrants only have to pay like 6k, which is far cheaper than in-state tuition. :bugeye:

Illegal immigrants still get benefits. In many cases, they're better than our citizens! Heck, they get free health care and all that. If something is wrong, just go to the emergency room and they get it for free while everyone else gets stuck with a bill!

I suppose anyone can baulk the system if they have the facilities. One of the reasons why I believe we should all have ID cards in the UK, it will stop all the fraud, hopefully. That is provding the Govt use all modern technologies available and not skimp on it. Things like DNA should be there too, even retina scans if necessary.

So says the computer programmers or music and movie companies putting in the latest security precautions only to have it cracked the day it comes out.

Even if everything is on one's ID card, even DNA and all that, it can be taken advantage of. All you gotta do is hack the source. And the worse part about it is that if you become a victim of fraud with those new ID cards, the perp now has ALL your information, not just your social security or credit card numbers, but even your freakin DNA!
