View Full Version : If everyone was bald... alexb123 05-07-07, 07:25 AM would this slow down global warming? IceAgeCivilizations 05-07-07, 07:40 AM Only if they all wear tinfoil hats, and their livestock pass 50% less gas. Oli 05-07-07, 08:39 AM Probably the opposite since we lose most of body heat through the head (heard that somewhere - maybe not true) so we'd be increasing the temperature. IceAgeCivilizations 05-07-07, 08:40 AM Yeh, but if you wear lead underwear, it offsets all that. alexb123 05-07-07, 09:26 AM Yeh, but if you wear lead underwear, it offsets all that. Or a chimney vent in your shoes IceAgeCivilizations 05-07-07, 09:31 AM This is all very complex, what does Al Gore want? Vega 05-07-07, 09:45 AM Al Gore definitely does not want another "BUSH"!!! IceAgeCivilizations 05-07-07, 09:52 AM Don't call Tipper a Bush. Gently Passing 05-08-07, 01:44 PM Don't call Tipper a Bush. I heard she's got a complex eco-system down there. Shaving her bush would literally compromise 6% of the earth's biomass. nietzschefan 05-08-07, 02:02 PM Well I know for certain of at least one total B.S story with "global warming emissions". Here in Canada a new environmental emmisions law, ommited the Alberta oilsands project. There is a huge uproar and it's all political BULL. In that area of Canada you can see SOLID BLUE sky all the way to the horizon and long after this oil boom is over you will still see it in Ft. McMurray as the city probably maxes out at 50000 souls, the closest city being Edmonton at about 800000. Please, save your "global" plans for "global" issues and get your effing science right before submitting to the public. "Global" problem areas : China(specifically the coast), Europe(specifically London to Coventry and points between and around, Germany), North america great lakes industrial/steel industry. Any city above 1000000. Just get it right and lose the political agenda and people might play ball. Medicine*Woman 05-08-07, 02:02 PM ************* M*W: I have always thought that the warmer our climate gets, the less bodily hair we will have. If there is such a thing as "global warming," then we should be shedding our body hair. Personally, I don't think global warming is anymore significant today than it has been since the dawn of time. We're just noticing it more, that's all. What do you all think? nietzschefan 05-08-07, 02:06 PM I just think i'd rather get clean air around the great lakes than worry about "global warming" that even most scientists that subscribe to it, think we cannot now avoid. IceAgeCivilizations 05-08-07, 02:06 PM I think we're all going bald from global warming by the Sun so that we will look more like the Sun "our father." |
