Since there is no Earth at the North Pole, do they have Ice Quakes? Or is it just floating there, breaking away when it fractures?

Or is it just floating there, breaking away when it fractures? Please tell me you don't really mean this. You know that under the ice there's plenty of Earth, a land mass actually with mountains and valleys. Whenever the ice melts all of the land will be exposed for all to see. Vkothii 06-08-08, 10:31 PM No, I think it's about how there's a big landmass at the South Pole, but the North Pole is an ocean, surrounded by land - the Russian, North American and Greenland landmasses. In geological terms the poles are like, polar opposites. |
