IPods in athletics. I know I can run a lot longer with an iPod than without one. Will iPods ever be acceptable in competitive sport i.e. long distance running or cycling. Its not like a performance enhancing drug, but it does give a psychological boost to performance?

I think it does help with motivation and training. Some companies have sensors in the shoe that connect with your iPod.
