View Full Version : IP address: 80.91.#.#-Stop trying to be me!!!
Jozen-Bo 02-26-08, 03:31 AM IP address: 80.91.#.#!!!
What the hell is your problem! Twice now you have tried to log in as Jozen-Bo!!! Now I am exposing you for this. Are you trying to falsely represent myself and my ideas? You are obviously some amatuer who doesn't know what the hell they are doing and now you are going to get into trouble. IP addresses can be traced...if this was SG then I would have a no chance...but its not SG (who apprently is working with me!!!), no it is some loner who feels justified in attempting to pose as me!!! Stop it NOW!!!
I am not even go to mention why I suspect someone would do this, but I a pretty good idea! To the poser who would try to be me....STOP IT NOW BEFORE YOU GET YOURSELF INTO SERIOUS, SERIOUS, SERIOUS TROUBLE. THIS IS NO LIGHT WARNING, THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING!!! 3 strikes and you are out!!! You striked twice, don't strike again.
Moderators... this person needs to be stopped!!! If this happens again I am going through measures to track this person down and hang them by the balls. I have means...maybe I won't need to resort to them?
DeepThought 02-26-08, 04:15 AM There's nothing you can do unless you live in Germany, which is where the IP is, assuming it's not a proxy.

Suggest you change your password to a really hard one to crack, that'll eliminate any danger.
12 characters including letters, numbers and symbols should do the trick.
Stryder 02-26-08, 08:33 AM Okay Jo, I've had a little look at the IP you mentioned which I've edited for the time being.
From what I can work out the IP you accuse of attempting to log into your account is in fact apart of a telecommunications backbone. It's possible that it's actually a Proxy/Cache for dealing with certain portions of bandwidth load so not so much data has to be shifted through the network Centre, however obviously it could be caching your login information.
I tried trace routing your most recent IP's to see if they would have the offending IP within their hops, unfortunately they didn't which means obviously if the Proxy/Cache is being commanded it's by one of the connections in your overall route.
There is of course the very slim chance that hackers are exploiting the network centre, however it's ridiculously slim considering there are a number of Government Hired groups in Germany that help secure the networks further.
What I would suggest is that you don't leave your user session open after you've finished on the forum, always LOG OFF. This will stop any Cookie Sessions potentially being stolen and allowing open access to such forums as Sciforum's.

It just so happens that I do!!!
Jozen-Bo 02-26-08, 01:50 PM what makes you think its a guy?
Your right...it could be a girl.
Jozen-Bo 02-26-08, 01:51 PM Hang her by the clitty.
Thats right...if it's a girl then Spud Emperor's quote applies!!!

Its a done deal!!! The new password is ridiculously long and a pain in the but to fill in each time.:bawl: Better then having some poser pretend to be me.

Thanks, I will always log out from now on!!!

You should have never uttered the word 'Zaboombafoo' :D.
Jozen-Bo 02-27-08, 03:02 AM I now know which address this is...its the one I have at work. There are roughly 500 employees here, one server...meaning someone at work attempted to login in under my password. I know it wasn't me, because the original password was so retarded easy I would never get it wrong. So...I have more to think about??? Not the most preferrable result, but at least I figured this much out!

How did you find out someone tried to login as you, and where did you get the I.P. address from?
