Five years ago, then 'Senator' John Ashcroft came out on
the side of God, Country, and Internet privacy when he
was Chairman of the Senate Commerce Subcommittee
on Consumer Affairs ... etc. and Bill Clinton was Pres.

I think you are old enough to know that is perfectly normal. If people can change a lot over 5 years, so can politicians. In fact politicians are attacked a lot for changing their stance which is quite unfair. There is not a law that says once you make up your mind on certain issue, you can't change.

Go to analysis section. You can see most politicians in UK change after 5 years. Some change by quite a bit. Take Tony Blair for example, he became less libertarian and more authoritative after he became the prime minister. That usually happens to people in power.

You can take the test if you want, but I didn't tell people to take the test again. I was refering to the text in analysis section to sorta prove my point.

People's beliefs do drift. Some by quite a bit. That is the bottom line.
