wow...I'm beginning to feel like the pokemon-player of disorders...gotta catch 'em all!

For the past week or so, the outside of my left leg's been numb and tingly. Mainly numb. Skin color's fine, skin temp's fine...so I googled the symptoms and came up with peroneal neuropathy-a pinched nerve.

Not where I expected it though, likely in the vicinity of my kneecap. I already have osteophytes-bone spurs growing out of my spine on that side-I figured it was a sciatica symptom.

So, less alarming. But more alarming: I went to flex my leg outward while extended... and found that the ankle on that side is not nearly as strong as the other one.

That's alarming. So the first thing I need to do is stop crossing my legs-seriously, apparently that's most frequently the cause...I also have to apply ice regularly around my knee (where the nerve's most easily banged up) and flex my leg as I described to strengthen that ankle.

And get an appointment with a county GP to get a referral to go see the appropriate specialist-that should take about three months...I'm glad it's not cancer!
