View Full Version : I'm going to start selling things I don't have.
alexb123 05-07-07, 01:42 PM I was reading a UK paper called 'Loot' a while back and you can advertise things in it for free.
I have decided that I will start to sell things I don't have, in this newspaper because it's free.
What if someone buys them? Nobody runs a delivery service for non-existent goods.
alexb123 05-07-07, 01:48 PM That is a good point. Maybe as they are things I don't have I should make them things that people don't want.
But would still pay for, of course.
Warehousing would be cheap for the stock though.
alexb123 05-07-07, 01:52 PM I have had a though, say we get people buying things that they don't want? Thats would be our idea market.
Reggie Perrin strikes again?
darksidZz 05-07-07, 01:53 PM I can help you sell real things. I am a parts supplier for the midwest chicagoland area of the USA. If you wish give me a contact number for you and we can begin to discuss the prices you'll pay to me for very cheap goods that offer little value to your customers. Also I need some credit card numbers for the future, yours... muhaha

Maybe the things should be free. So people can have the pleasure of buying things they don't want free of change. I think they would be happier.

Do you think you could shift 4 lots of everything a week?
But if they're free then the customer won't have the pleasure of "retail therapy", no buzz from picking the best bargains... It's your duty to charge cash.
darksidZz 05-07-07, 02:04 PM We can sell Origami I've made, that should fetch a hefty price!
alexb123 05-07-07, 02:04 PM Well as long as it's cash that they don't have.

What shapes do you have, sir?
darksidZz 05-07-07, 02:07 PM I make flapping birds, blow up frogs, windmilll thingies you pull out and push together, jumping frogs, pigeons, and many more.. I'm a skilled one.
alexb123 05-07-07, 02:10 PM I make flapping birds, blow up frogs, windmilll thingies you pull out and push together, jumping frogs, pigeons, and many more.. I'm a skilled one.
You are indeed a skilled one. Now we have seen the range that you do have I think I will select from the range that you don't have because that is far far bigger.
Could I take, two chimpanzee shape bus stops, please?
darksidZz 05-07-07, 02:10 PM I can only send things I have in stock, cimpanzee's are not in stock they are sold out right now :L I sent them to Africa to live with Zebras
alexb123 05-07-07, 02:12 PM Dark don't try and pull that one, it's impossible to sell out of things that you don't have. This is one of the greatest advantages of stocking things you don't have, you never sell out.
I will select from the range that you don't have because that is far far bigger.
And 200 1-litre packs of chicken-and-telephone flavour ice cream to me.
alexb123 05-07-07, 02:20 PM And 200 1-litre packs of chicken-and-telephone flavour ice cream to me.
Would you like sprinkles with that?
alexb123 05-07-07, 02:23 PM Can you imagine how long the list of potential ice cream flavors would be compared to how many are made?
I feel we are still in the Ice Cream stone age. It doesn't matter that they properly only make the flavors people will eat, I would rather drink the possibility's.
Dark can I have an Origami ice cream please?
Wet dog-hair flavour? Yes please, but send separately, not everyone's cup of tea.
alexb123 05-07-07, 02:25 PM I heard that the most obnoxious thing possible is a Granny public hair pie with optional chips.
darksidZz 05-07-07, 02:26 PM Possible ice creams:
1. Female leg
2. Female thigh
3. Female private area (aka hidden valley)
4. Female butt
5. Female hair
6. Females sister
7. Leaf
8. Wood
9. Computer keyboard
10. Neck of thee female
11. Kiss of thee female
alexb123 05-07-07, 02:28 PM Dark can I tempt you to some poll Ice Cream?
darksidZz 05-07-07, 02:31 PM Yes :S~

Depends entirely on the granny - one drawback to being my age is that (unfortunately) I feel more comfortable (i.e. less pervy) with grannies than I do with teenagers in *ahem* certain situations...
alexb123 05-07-07, 02:35 PM You must know some very hairy granny's if you are only using one per pie. I personally have access to all the plug holes at the local retirement home and I still have to top it up with some of my own.
No, done a fair bit of "research" but these days (liberated wimmin an all) I'd need hundreds for one pie.... But the actual flavour ....
alexb123 05-07-07, 02:54 PM I hear the solution for age is a volovant (sp)
There's lots of "solutions" for age...
