in a business course, i finished all my work so i can play on the puter. I had a double period today in AP biology (lab day), and it was mostly lecture. UNTIL we got a sample essay from the AP exam 10 years ago, so hard. But i understood it, it involved a lab we had recently done, demonstrating osmosis and diffusion with sucrose solutions of varying, unknown molarities. However, i sort of um..wrote the reverse of what should have been done. SO PISSED! By the time i realized i did it all backwards, time was up, so i just tried to correct it as best i could.

Not to mention that an awesome college i had heard about that's very close to home, very small, and has an actual GENETIC ENGINEERING program...IS ALL FEMALE!!!!!!! I had thought i had finally found where i wanted to go, and then all that was destroyed in an instant! Its really dissapointing...and um, depressing, and ANGERING! Damnit. (I'm male :rolleyes: damnit damnitdamnit)

Oh well. Onto english class, where i learn nothing but Mandarin Chinese from Lin, then onto civics class...lots of pretty girls there. By then i'll be very hungry, off to lunch. Followed by a nice relaxing time in a less-than-advanced math class TOTALLY to my liking (not to mention the teacher is drop-dead gorgeous...good thing its not that advanced, or else i'd fail for my lack of attention paid to the math).

Just write above the paper: read from bottom to top

Its not that, i wrote the opposite of what the lab should have been. Water where a solution should have been, a solution where water should have been....definately a day when ya wanna "go back to bed".

Well, see, school's usually shitty for me. But so far, all year i've had all GREAT DAYS. Like, happy, fun, super, school-high type days. And then yesterday my brain wasnt awake, and it wasnt today either, and today just sucked. And its not the fact that it sucked..but just that all the days before this haven't.

well i found school life more easy then the working life. Actually i liked school alot (prolly because i wasn't around much).

Its okay. Im at school to, I go to a tech school so its like I have a computer with internet access in all my classes. Im also a intern 3 days of the week. Ive got internet access there to!

perhaps if you have an understanding instrucetor he/she will understand.. is it a large class or a small one? well, best of luck eitherway.

Well in my class where I have to learn Excel and Microsoft Word the instructor really doesnt care...Im good friends with her. Now my boss at work (im an intern) if he caught me slacking off at www.ishouldbeworking.com or worse off here, I could get my internship revoked. I only make 6 bucks an hour, but Im getting experience in the graphic design field.

That is if you count experience going to get everyone in the office coffee or listening to other peoples problems, or having to sharpen 2000 pencils. Being a intern is just a meaningless job, its busy work basically.

but um.. i dont know if im majoring in exactly what i want.. so um.. could you tell me a bit about what you do? cuz i have this bad feeling ive signed up for the wrong thing, and no one seems to know quit what im doing.

All I can tell you is that I think I screwed up and should of went for Computer Networking.

So far Im getting training in forms of HTML, XML, JAVA, Flash, dreamweaver.

Il get training in : Maya, Quark, photoshop and different stuff like that.

All I can say is that I better be able to get a job....

i want to do computer graphics design.
and i think.. um.. more on the "digital graphics" end of things? if thats even a catagory..... but.. that wasn't an opetion. my option was graphic design. so, thats what i took... then.. i looked at my classes....

i have ONE computer class: (intro to XP)
and 24 art (drawing) classes.
and two of those are photography.


so im starting to think im standing in the wrong line, but i can't find anyone else who knows much on the subject to help me out. (incuding the conselor).

EDIT:and by intro to xp, i mean.. ok.. this is a mouse, this is the keyboard.:rolleyes:

I have like 3 art classes right now to, and then I have intro to photoshop, Computer fundimentals (where I learn word and excel) just general stuff. I also have a math class.

somehow, i managed to test though all of my math requirements (when i strugled at math in school), but i didn't test though english, and that is what i was always good at!! but there is soooo much drawing. and so little computer classes, which i dont mind, since ive already taken a good handful, but, i dont know why they are not required to.. not to mention ive never taken an art class since the required one in 7th grade... :(

My major in Highschool was art history. I probably should of went to a 4 year college to get a degree in that. I have a drawing class... have you made story boards yet?

no... im in my first semester.. and so far. my classes are:
-intro to XP
-personal moeny management
-communications: public speaking
-principles of marketing.

mostly filler classes for my gen eds. lol
i dont have a damn clue what story board is. lol. in highschool, i filled all of my free space up with computers and french. took 5 five years of french, and every computer class available.

I flunked out of all of my Honors classes (thats what we call advanced in kentucky) so they wouldnt let me take computer courses, bastards. And no im not stupid, I just didnt like the people in those classes, they all thought that everyone in every other class was a idiot because they werent in honors so I flunked out of it, they were all jerks in other words.
