hey i'm back from a long while of formatting and reinstalling programs, which brings up a good question:


How often do you format your hard drive?

i selected never but only because i dont have the space to transfer all my stuff else where while i do it

I have had to do so twice this year, due to screw up with drivers in XP. On both attempts to replace the needed drivers the restore function locked up. Oh joy.

your back wow where did you go? once a year is good but I had to do it about five times damn linux install keeped fucking up.

I usually just clean up unneccesary junk, run it through the Disk Cleanup, Scan Disk, then Defragment. I Defragment as often as possible, because 1. It is good for the computer (I think), and 2. It is fun to watch the little blue and red and green blocks whizzing by. :D

Whenever it needs doing. I've had to do it at least 5 times last year (gotta get used to saying that) due to changes in OS or Windows totally screwing up beyond repair

about 2-3 times a year so far.
wen i build a better computer, im hoping i wont need 2 4mat as much.
