I randomly keep getting logged out of this forum, and have to log back in. Its quite annoying. I have selected the remember me option.
Cookies first ... beyond that, I don't know How is your browser set to regard cookies? That's the first question that comes to mind; if the site can't maintain the cookie in your browser, you'll have to log in frequently. Beyond that ... well, things get obscure. Safari (at least) gets confused whenever Google routes me in the back door (the actual IP address), and I frequently have to log in again after hitting one of those pages.
We'll move on to the next idea Well, I'm out of ideas .... Give it a little time; there are plenty of people better suited to answer the question than I. And some of them are actually here. Or ... will be ... shortly. Since someone is likely to ask, what OS and browser are you using?

Whats so bad about getting logged out all the time? Logging in builds character ......makes you a man.......puts hairs on yer chest.
I'm also using Firefox but I don't have that problem. I know it sound silly, but try without "Remember me" option.

Like both Plazma and Absane have mentioned it's likely that a particular toggle has "remembered" the wrong number. So it remembers you are always logged out, so either deleting all cookies from the sciforums.com domain or toggling the remember me off might help fixing it. (once you've cleaned the cookies or toggled the "remember me" option, toggle it back when you next login.) Obviously remember to tell us if it does or does not work, if it doesn't we'll see what else we have up our sleeves to try.
