Actually, I grew up playing things like Space Invaders and Frogger. I guess seeing a green amphibian repeatedly squished on its futile quest to cross the highway can scar a child.

The Borg were supposed to be antilife in the Startrek universe. They were supposed to take the whole galaxy on and win nearly every time. It was supposed to be a miracle to just meet them and survive unchanged, much less to turn back one of their assaults. They were supposed to be purely reactionary, without individual perspective or leadership. Then they throw in the queen and everything goes downhill from there.

I was the Frogger champion everywhere I went. No one else knew what happened when the counter overflowed or how crazy the game got when you exceed the maximum level they expected.The Borg were supposed to be antilife in the Startrek universe.
