Anyone seen Jeff Dunham in concert with his dead terrorist doll, brilliant!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uwOL4rB-go
yeah, he has a show on Comedy Central, but they aren't renewing it. I hate that fuzzy purple whatever he is thing. I hate him....on a stick!
I am in the UK and only just 'turned on to him' via youtube and Achmed. I saw that 'purple thing' on his web site - EEEK!!! Looks like he has a blueberry sandwich wrapped around his hand.

I enjoy some of his routines, like Achmed the dead terrorist and Walter the old man , they have allot of funny material. I do not think he should have ever tried a TV show however, he just doesn't have enough material on his own to pull it off. He should have had other comedians on to support his TV production, that might have helped....somewhat.
agreed, never seen tv program but you are right, a comic would never have enough material for such a thing, he is best keeping to the circuits.
Ever notice that when a blue prius goes by it makes a noise like "IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM GAY"..... Personally I think the guy's great.
* * * * NOTE FROM THE LINGUISTICS MODERATOR * * * * A doll may be poseable, but it has no dynamically moving parts. A ventriloquist's puppet is called a "dummy." It has special architecture inside that allows the ventriloquist's hand to open and close the mouth, turn the head, and in some cases perform other tasks such as blinking the eyes. This distinguishes it from a true hand puppet like Lamb Chop or the Muppets which is more of a glove, from marionettes which have strings, and from other types of puppetry such as the nearly life-size Japanese rod puppets. I've seen Jeff Dunham's act on Comedy Central many times. It was funny for a while but I think he ran out of material and is just recycling his jokes. If you haven't seen him, by all means check him out because his limited repertoire of gags is amusing, not to mention rather politically incorrect.
