    What are are possible explanations for people having hydrocephaly but having high IQ?

    At a guess-not a severe case, pressure seen to early and kept under good control through a shunt?

    Negative correlation. That is, hydrocephaly tends to cause retardation as the fluid pressure squashes the brain and caves it out.
