Humans are capable of makeing life extremely simple or complex, hard or easy...etc The question I am askin is...would humans be better off with lower intelligence. Intelligence is one of the things that seperates us from the rest of the creatures of the world. Because of our intelligence we have been able to create many things, such as the wheel and fire. These things allowed to to change the way we live and create even more THINGS....these things are usually helpfull and allow for the creation of more things. Our intelligence has allowed us to create things such as the the nuclear bomb - fossil fules that pollute, chemical warfare, and warfare itself. We have also created solutions for our problems. Are all we doing is creating problems to solve??

Ignorance is bliss...............

We have good and bad inventions, with lower intelligence we wouldnt live so long or have the health care we do, or be capable of decent travel, i suppose it depends how low intelligence you are talking.

More or less would be good.
We're in this annoying 'ignorant yet industrious' region. We either need the consciousness to match our industrious or we need to lose the industriousness.

I agree with Lou, alas, a bit of foresight would also be good.

Yes, foresight, and humility.
An urge to be honourable as a species.
Things like this would make us the species that we like to think we are.
What exactly are we doing other than talking ourselves up and showing off? We're just sitting here using up resources. We need long term goals.

Not necessarily long time goals, but we should think about how our actions develop as time goes on.

Alas, a definite goal would not be harmful.
