I can certainly see the reasoning behind the Baron and Sandy being on there. I haven't done so yet. Mr. G and Lixluke are the only posters I have on ignore.

Well it's a good in that I have the opportunity to read every post. It's bad in that if I am to use the ignore feature, it would be much easier to take a vacation from Sciforums.

No, I said I have the opportunity to read every post. I ignore most posts for the same reasons as everyone else.

Yeah, the G-man is on my list too. I just found it funny that out of 9 on my ignore list 3 were posting consequtively, thus the thread.

Looks like what you need is a proper ignore feature that doesnt even show you that they even posted.

The fastest way of reading a thread is to read the thread title and nothing else. I admit there is even a faster way of reading a thread, that is not to read the thread title either. But reading the thread title will at least give you an idea on what you can post.
