Isn't it interesting?
-"You've got a new message, do you want to read it?"
- Yes

A problem? :bugeye:
They have instate a new quicky divorce system for woman too in Islamic country....IT's called Kholea, or the "great escape". The woman can divorce her husband in a second by saying I'm Khalea, which mean, I escape, underwhich she is immediately divorced without some benefits such as alimony, money, ect. She keeps the house though and custody of the children.

You can divorce through SMS in Malaysia
Reuters
Kuala Lumpur,_July 26
Malaysian Muslim men can divorce their wives through text messages on mobile telephones, the New Straits Times daily reported on Saturday, quoting a religious adviser to the government.
Hamid Othman, adviser to Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, said divorce via SMS or short messaging service was in accordance with Sharia law if it was clear and unambiguous.
"SMS is just another form of writing," the daily quoted Hamid as saying, following an Islamic court decision on Thursday that ruled in favour of a man who served divorce on his wife using SMS.
Islamic law permits a man to divorce his wife by declaring "I divorce you" three times.
outlandish

No no no NO!!
Stop quoting nonsense. Such a matter IS NOT in accordance with Sharia law.
Please don't further embarass yourself getting into Sharia law.

So what's the point of your post?
Holy fucking $*#%**@*%@$.
Can you marry via text messaging, then?
There's a new article (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/3112151.stm) in which the government is thinking about that problem. The past article was not clear when dealing with the rules of the Islamic divorce :
Sharia law requires a man to tell his wife three times that he divorces her. At least one declaration must be before a religious official.
And the government has also a law :
Men who declare divorce outside a court already face up to three years in jail.
So you need to say "I divorce" thee times :

in a court
in front of a religious official
in front of your wife (or with a SMS if you're a coward)
