im starting college fairly soon and i need to decide how many units to take. I won't be working at all so I can finish faster. How many units should I take? I'll be working towards my masters in criminal justive. ive heard 12 units is good...but i dont want an excess of free time to be bored in, but I also don't want to be so bogged down as to not be able to go out or relax (esp during finals, dont want an overload). so far ive heard 12-28 units. with 15 will I have alot of free time? 18? 21? anyone able to give me some info on this?

I think anything over 15 would be cutting it pretty close. If you get bored, do extra credit. Shoot for a 4.0!

    Science and engineering 12-15
    Liberal arts 15-18
    Science with liberal arts 15ish.

You don't want too many credits as a freshman because you need to have time to do the college thing....You need to go out on Thursday night and weekend mornings are reserved for hangovers so you won't have as much time as you think.
