How many times do you visit your toilet for a shit?
Seriously someone told me last night that if you don’t crap three times a day you’re constipated, is this true,
How many times do you crap a day/week?

I had to answer three but it's often more than that. In fact it's usually gotten to three before I leave for work in the morning.
It's little and often but you have to understand that there is no such thing as normal.
Most people go once a day and that's that
Others are like me at the other ond of the spectrum.
As far as constipation is concerned if you're going at all, you're NOT constipated!
A good tip is to drink plenty of water. The colons job is to extractg water from feacal matter and so if you're bunged up it's really the case that you're just no drinking enough.

Depending on what I eat, I will shit every two days or once a day. Probably averaging something like 1.5 http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y63/mrobert0/_Toilet__by_dhorizon.gif

When I eat the wrong foods though, I might go like 3 or 4 days without 'doin it'.

and what that person eats. I think junk food slides though your system faster than healthy food.

Its the reverse; fatty foods and non fibrous foods stick around, fiber decreases transit time (which is why pure vegetarians tend to have longer intestines). Its also why people who eat low fiber diets get an "upset stomach" when they eat a lot of fiber.

Having food sticking around your colon is not good, bacteria act on it produce toxins, it affects the local pH and epithelial stability; increases your susceptibility to constipation.

Junk food eaters are more likely to have disorders of the colon (diverticulitis, hiatal hernia, hemorrhoids, IBD, colon carcinoma).

Does he smoke? Drink a lot of coffee? Caffeine stimulates intestinal and bowel movements; hence the coffee and cigarette that is obligatory for some.

Depends on a lot of other things; all foods play a role.

I suppose yours is a mainly meat diet? That would explain the low frequency. I have seen pure meat eaters (no salads or veggies) go every 4 days or so.

Normal stuff. Breakfast and lunch usually bread with cheese or whatever.
Diner is vegetables, potatoes and small piece of meat. This is pretty normal in Holland.
Sometimes I eat pizza or pasta for diner.
Sometimes cornflakes for breakfast.
Between meals a couple of biscuits or a piece of fruit.
