1. How many soldiers have died in war since the beginning of time?
2. How many civilians have died in war since the beginning of time?
3. What percentage is this compared to the cumulative world population since the beginning of time?

How many people would there be today if no one had ever died in war?

1) Do you include famine disease and wounds?
2) Around 40 million civilians have died been killed during the course of war.
3) Around 100 million + soldiers killed during war.

spuriousmonkey,
You just gave me a flash back of that scene in south park the movie: Kenny was going up to heaven and he gets rejected and as he falls he passes a sign saying heavens population (it was 1000 something something) and as he falls to hell you see hells pop. Sign: Its in the trillions with the numbers spinning up really fast!
I think technically most of the human race has died by violent ends... if you consider that last 100,000years.

100,000 years? The human race has only been around for 8,000 years max unless you count astrolopithicus (don't know if that correct so you have to sound it out for yourself).

What? 8000 years? Where the hell did you get that information from? "dillusional digest"?
It was recently believed we were only 150 000 years old but the latest discovered fossils suggest we might even be 400 000 years old. This is homo sapiens I'm talking about.
