Wow. I had no idea that the media can only be Left-biased. So, if it agrees with Leftist philosophy, then it is Biased. If it agrees with Right wingers, then it is fair and unbiased reporting. Live and learn I guess. Thanks for the info! (Kinda funny that an article that pupports to explain how to spot biased articles is completely Right biased, doncha think?)
Although I wouldn't know from personal experience, I had always heard that most or all of american media is radically leaned more to the right than anywhere else on earth. Watching the news in Europe is like waking up from a bad dream. edit: thank you, Galt, Jerrek, et al, for bringing down sciforums even further. You're really a credit to the human racePlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Thank you. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! If you're a damn socialist. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! U.S. media swining to the right? You must be nuts! Komrade Klinton's News Network is one the most liberal news sources out there. Granted, it pretty much likes to cover U.S. and onl U.S. affairs, but that doesn't mean it swings to the right. If I were to rate new sources on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being liberal and 10 being rightwing, I'd do it as follows: 6 - Fox 4 - MSNBC 3 - CNN 1 - BBC No I don't just watch Fox. I do watch CTV news every night, and BBC world news usually two or three times a week. I enjoy Fox most of all though.
That's sad. FOX won a court decision defending their right to lie to their viewers. I am sure you heard about that, though. Right? Here And Here
CNN too: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/gonzo/shut_down_cnn.htm And lets not talk about the recent New York Times scandals. What about BBC? Well, if their own armed forces couldn't stomach it and asked Sky to be the official news source for the armed forces, well, that makes you think doesn't it?
So I guess if I believe that the government should help less fortunate people out, I'm a socialist, right? Off to prison I go. Damn me for wanting to lend a helping hand. Really. That Pollux, what an asshole...
We need clowns, but not morons. Plus I thought there was another monkey lurking around...you two met up somewhere as I recall.....hmm....
Yea, damn your for wanting to lend a helping hand by helping yourself to other people's money. See the difference between us is that I believe each person should help himself to his own money and stuff and through that help other people. Liberals want to help themselves to what other people has.
wow...and those words come from the mouth of a student...the greatest parasites in modern society...(i know...i have been one and still am...sort of)
Not themselves, necessarily. - I'm a liberal. - I pay taxes in a rather liberal country compared to the USA, but less liberal than Canada i would guess. - I receive no social benefits whatsoever. So, basically, if the taxes i pay are distributed to social welfare, it is surely to others. Not myself. I am quite content with this, but probably this is due to the mental disorder you mention in your signature.
Sorry, I forgot, I'm a liberal and I'm crazy. I've been seeing a shrink, trying to cure my liberalism, and he's been trying to convert me to being illogical, to being conservative, you see, by saying that 2+2=5, you know? But it just isn't working. 2+2=4, not 5. I don't want to help myself to other people's cash. I want it to go to cold, sick, starving people. I want small percents to collectively go from the more fortunate to the less fortunate. People who have lost their jobs from the poor economy need money to tie them over. People like my mom, who was fired from her job a few months ago because she is a woman. But it doesn't matter. If social services like this aren't extended, you'll get IMF-WTO Disorder, which has symptoms including a lack of public education, affordable healthcare, etc. I go to a public school, Jerrek. I'm going here for free off of other people's money. Should I be able to be educated for free?
