There are many ancient Gods/Deities that were/are worshiped like Mithras, Krishna, Horus, Dionysus, Attis,...

Let's debate here the influence christianity received from older religions.

I'll start with this:
Horus crucified, from a pre-Christian statuette of Isis nursing Horus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:HarpocratesCrucifiedDetail.JPG)

History of Christianity from Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Christianity/Jesus,_pre-4th_century_Christianity,_and_syncretism

For a detailed list of "dying-and-rising" deities:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life-death-rebirth_deity

Let's reason without pointless arguments such as:
Blasphemy!, It's invention from the devil, ect.

I think you'll find it's been debated before, but christians will always try to justify there position.
