Dealing with such members had been revised and appropriate measures had been taken (bannings, infractions). Before you the discussion made here on SciForums had helped many with their science homework (Ex: check physics section).

IceAge is one of a select group of people that belive that religious texts are to be interpreted literally. He does not understand the concept of religious metaphor and that religious texts are designed by humans to teach morality.

He is obviously threatened by the advances of modern science and must deal with the conflict between the benefits science gives him and the erosion of his religious beliefs that science presents. His approach is to justify his religious belief in a self created pesodo science, it allows him to live in the modern world while still holding on to purely unscientific beliefs.

All we can do is ignore him, and I guaranty that he will move on. Don't try to change him it will never happen.

It's quite simple: After reading many posts and topics provided by the SciForums community, and analyzing a number of personalities, I've come to this conclusion.

SciForums has no scientific integrity. Most everyone here has preconceived ideas, and refuses to change them when evidence is provided. Or better reasoning. They also refuse to ponder possibilities, instead calling them "impossible" when there is no evidence to prove that.

It's no different then every other science forum I've been to. Sans people having upwards of TWENTY THOUSAND POSTS! So yeah...that ends my evaluation of sciforums. :D

As for stopping GeoffP: I agree. Jar of Anal Lube. Also, lock Spuriousmonkey in a room with him. Hehehe
