Why not have a Hitler sticky in the cess pit, where all "That's just like what Hitler did/wanted/said etc" posts are moved to immediately. I would exclude posts in threads that are actually about Hitler.
Heh. But seriously. Why? Either the comment is relevant, in which case it can stay in the thread in question, or it is irrelevant, in which case it can be deleted. Why is the status quo not acceptable?
So that we can complain about it, start numerrous whining threads about why its a a bad idea and shouldnt have been done, only for the moderators to say theres no point changing it back, after all theres nothing wrong with the status quo. I believe this principle was applied to the US Constitution.
If it had been up to Stalin all the posts would be re-written to reflect the official party line. With dissenters airbrushed out of the picture.
It's sexist as well. No-one ever says "That's what Eva Braun would have done" eg "My wife waits until I fall asleep, and for a joke cuts my moustache so I look like Hitler, That's what Eva Braun would have done" Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
