Foreign Secretary Jack Straw says he never saw the controversial "dodgy dossier" about Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction before it was published in February.

He apologised to the student whose thesis was used as the basis of the "dodgy dossier", during questions from the Commons foreign affairs select committee.
hmmm...this reminds me of a wonderful reposte (made by a journalist for the Times newspaper on english TV last night) to allegations that the 6 British troops were killed as a result of an "un-provoked attack"
"Well the entire war was unprovoked"
