I mean, hey ... at least they weren't gay!
Whew! What a relief, huh? I mean, I know how important that is to you (http://www.sciforums.com/showpost.php?p=1614225&postcount=1).
Not that it would have made much of a difference. I can't say that there were any gays petitioning in this one. But still, let's consider your outlook about better dead than gay. I mean, I'm pretty sure this isn't what you had in mind, Mitt. But I'm going to go ahead and say that yes, this one would have been better off with loving, attentive, encouraging gay guardians than the heterosexuals she did have:
A man charged with killing a 2-year-old in Groton told police he held her face against jets in a bathtub, then left her there and went to watch football, according to a search warrant unsealed this week.
Treau Bemis died in a bathtub at her aunt Kimberly Bemis' house Sept. 16. Bemis' fiance, Craig Betancourt, was baby-sitting while she was at work.
He told police that he got angry when Treau threw up and then cried while he bathed her. He said he used the bathtub's hose to spray water in her face, then pressed her against the tub and held her face under the jets while she struggled and cried, according to the warrant.
Eventually, she went limp and he left her face up in the water, according to the warrant unsealed Tuesday in New London Superior Court.
"He stated that he knew what he did was wrong but that he did not care," police said ....
..... He first told police he left Treau alone in the tub while he put his own daughter to bed and watched TV. But then he admitted spraying her with the nozzle and holding her face to the water jets, according to the search warrant.
Kimberly had custody of Treau, who had been living with the couple and their 7-year-old daughter for about a year. The state Department of Children and Families had found Treau's parents unfit to care for her.
Kimberly Bemis and other relatives have said the little girl's death was a terrible accident. They could not be reached for comment.

Remember, Mr. Romney: Life is a 100% fatal sexually-transmitted disease. And it is passed exclusively by heterosexuals. Should we call this "euthanasia"? A mercy killing? A het looking out for the best interests of a child?
I'll see you in Hell, Mitt. And I will take comfort when I do.
