*sigh* My mother just upgraded her computer from Windows 98 to Windows XP. She was assured by the "computer guy from the computer place" that all her settings and files would be safe. Alas this was not true. She uses Netscape as a browser and for her e-mail stuff(instead of outlook Netscape has it's own thing). When she upgraded to XP and tried to acess her profile(all her info- e-mails, adress book, favourites) it was gone.

Now I don't use Netscape so I've been searching about the internet for hours trying to find some kind of answer, and what I found was that when XP installs the Netscape profile information is automatically moved to a different location. I don't know what the location is, or what to do. I would keep searching but all this stuff I don't quite get is hurting my head.

Does anyone have any experince with Netscape who could tell me what I can do, or where I can find the profile, or...anything at all?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
