Question: where is the options for that little menu that comes down when you right-click? Some pop-up thing(I have taken measures to keep it from happening again) put a link in there, and I have no idea how to get it out. I have no idea, people think for some reason I'm a computer nerd, but I'm just as clueless as the next Joe. Help?

Sorry a4ever, was interesting, but they didn't say where for the IE window. Yes,*pulls hair out,* it's a porn link, and I don't like it there. It's not going to happen again, but I want it off! Threw a bunch of worms, and this. I'm workign on cleaning up my computer so only stuff I say goes on it, and stays on it, but it's slow.

Maybe worth a shot? (http://www.thenakedpcstore.com/jermar/short_list.html)

It seems that this is not an easy task. Uninstalling IE is not a good idea either. Something about objects, system instability and the likes.

This program is shareware. I never used it. It claims that it can do what you ask.

Faf, be a sport, stop bugging the man, and give the information you have. The actual text is irrelevant.

Try using Regedit to find this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt

[Before editing make sure you back up you whole registery, this could take a while due to it's size, but you will have a registery you can place back over any alterations you make, Very handy for learning about manipulating the registery]

You should be able to find in key, the entry that you are looking to remove.
You should just delete that entry within the key (Not this actual key)

it is relevant, with the text you can do a registry search.

Faf, in that case, you still don't need to know the exact text, you still don't need to embarass Gifted any further.

Look! Stryder could do it...

Thanks Stryder, I found it! It didn't dissappear instantly, I'm assuming I'll have to reboot.

Thanks again for the help everyone!
