The title may be misleading. I havent had a lucid dream since I was a child, then suddenly I was blessed with one last night.

It started with me running up the stairs in a huge skyscraper, counting by twos the whole way up. Well not that exciting but this went on for awhile.

Then all of a sudden I look out a window thats near by, and suddenly I see a huge green field and everything gets High-Definition on my ass. Seriously I have never experienced anything like this, even when I was a child; the level of detail was amazing. Then suddenly I am aware I am in a dream, and instantly I start hearing my friends voices start say things like, "Whatcha dreaming about?", "Are you dreaming?", etc... over and over again almost like they were trying to get me to wake up. This is about when I realized I was also in control of my dream so I stepped off the edge and just started flying around, knowing the whole time I was dreaming. Then as suddenly as it began it ended and I woke up.

Man it was an awesome dream, and I hope they start happening regularly like they did when I was a child.

Unfortunately I've found lucid dreams to be an impossible thing to make occur. I've tried brainwave-entrainment.com CD's, brainsync CD's, and nothing ever works. Books fail, methods fail... all in all dreaming is left to that corner of our minds that is forever unknown.
