HEEEELLP!!! Old Alien/Sci-Fi Movie??

Can somebody please help me!!!!

I watched this old Alien movie as a kid and i can remember what it was called.

What happened was the this guy was on a planet (i think it was a planet) and he came across an alien ship down by a lake and he was looking at it from a cliff above the lake, he went down and found food in the form of these little green things. and also in the movie there was these quick sand pits that this long thin arm would come out of and grab what ever was on the pit, it would grab these giant beetle looking things and spit their shells out also.

Adventually the alien and the human became mates and the human taught the alien to speak english and i remember when he taught him "mickey mouse" and the alien would pronounce it "mickey moth" or sumthing like that. also the human proceeded to built a house out of the big beetle shells.

I think thats all i can remember!

Someone must know something about it.

is that were the alien gave birth to a baby alien? And this planet as they have found out was trash planet? is that it? So than at the end they found a spaceship of scavengers?

Yeah, shit I had forgotten that movie! They had previews for it on our VHS tape of Alien so I know the previews better than the actual movie.

Nice one Xev...that's a great movie...I think Louis Gosset Jr. plays the alien.

 

theres another one i been thinking too but cant for the life of me member its name
its about a couple of guys that work tree lumbering and they all see a light but one gets out and ends upn near it and vanishes for days the others ran for their lives
he ends up free from the aliens and near dies several times in hospital
that one is based on a true story they guy is doing well now and has kids so forth but hes never the same as he used to be before the abduction
DONT KNOW THE NAME OF OF IT and i want ton rent it

Fire in the Sky... man, that was a good movie. I remember that movie frightened me stupid as a kid. The scenes with the aliens dragging the humans through the corridors, the experiments, the purple jelly and the mechanical movements, and the whole ambience... oh shit, I gotta see that again.

Did you know the plot for that movie was basically a rehash of a BattleStar Galactica 1980 episode with Starbuck being marooned on a planet with a cylon? It's widely regarded as the only good episode of the short lived BattleStar Galactica 1980 series.

It was a good movie but it still freaks me out now!!! :fright:

I love that movie. If its on TV, I watch it. I cry every damn time. Its like Bambi's Mom all over again. :bawl:

 

just about an hour ago i woke up with this loud usic in my head it got louder and louder then soft then loud.... like that my bird went crazy she flew near me and now shes sitting there not moving like sumthing scared her
i listened i heard a gate creak and the bushes move outside then the neighbours dogs barked
i layed awake bfore coming on here just open eyed thinking bout that music
i thought wow that was weird ...but im thinking a warning maybe like a horrorble person
i dunno cause the door bell is right near where my gate is and the sond ring my bell kinda weird
and i woke up sweaty and hot i got the air con on now

 

Old alien movie

Hi guys,

My mum used to talk about an old alien invasion movie of which she couldn't remember the name. She said it had big, almost round, aliens. They were slow, but would emit a sound that would cause either blindness or deafness (I thought blindness). Can anyone help me with a title?

 

Did you know that BSG episode was basically a rehash of an Outer Limits show which was basically a rehash of a 1930s short story which was probably basically a rehash of something?
