Some people say that dog is man's best friend.
But I disagree; Guinness is clearly the greater companion in my eye.

And is the perfect beverage for a well earned sunbathe in the quarry after a long bike ride.

Draught Extra Cold Guinness for me.
    Murphy's isn't bad at all.
Beamish (both versions) suck big time.
And Caffrey's, while not exactly stout, is superb...

Or if you really want to annoy the bar staff try asking for Guinness shandy on a hot summer's day...

A couple of days ago I bought a bottle of Wentworth’s new Oyster Stout.
It's actually made with oysters unlike Marston's, but I don't know if it tastes of it as I've never tried them.
Tastes slightly of licorice, and is very nice though.

    And only 99p a pop.

I love a Guinness shandy (it's my prefered shandy at least). 'Tis funny watching an inexperienced barman try and make it though.
