do you drink alot of that cheap ass cool aid shit they sell by the gallon at grocery stores?
The food coloring they usewill cause colored 'poo' if you drink alot in a short time period.

Any time I eat a blue sno cone, I invariably contract green poo. Same thing happens with spinach.

What I was really referring to was not the color being affected by dyes in the food.

What I meant was when you have an upset stomach and it comes out green.
Or when a child has diarrhea, it is often green.

Seems like maybe under digested food possibly, maybe bateria in your system coming out or maybe the results of what your body produces when it is fighting bacteria?

Secreted bile at the beginning of the small intestine is green. As your body
further breaks down the stool, it becomes darker. If the stool passes through
your intestines too quickly, it can be expelled with a greenish color.

:m: Peace.

About 80% of your poo is bacteria. Babies’ poo is green for the first days/week because they don’t have bacteria yet. But not sure that adult green poo would be due to lack of bacteria, I’d side on the argument that bile pigment would be the cause or iron rich food.

weebee, do you have a link to a source for the poo being 80% bacteria? I find it a little hard to believe.

so did I :p

http://kidshealth.org/parent/system/medical/labtest8_p2.html is one...and I'm sure there are other numbers floating around. 80% is on the high side I guess.

when my sister was two she ate a set of those dry watercolor paint tablets and later that day called the family to the bathroom to show us the wondefull ranbow spectrum in the toilet bowl.
