In 1992 there was a series of popular games called space adventure and 3-D Dinosaur Adventure. I remember I used to play the hell out of these games.

The visual content of the game is quite outdated now but the music never gets old.

The problem is that the audio from this program does not work anymore on modern computer systems. So how can I get the music from this game?

I want all the music from that game.

You can use DOSbox to load the game on PC, and Audacity to record as WAV

One of my favs.....I recorded the theme song for Uridium as a ringtone, but it's over 30 seconds so it cuts off at the end

I can't seem to hear anything "great" about this kind of music other than it's very bland melody.

Before you set yourself apart for misunderstanding, you need to remember that within a memory of virtual space playtime, many do not turn the sound down, and the sounds/music become an import part of the total experience recalled later.

I just would call that "music" enhancement but not "great".

I wouldn't say that you can justly do that. I'm not certain of the numbers of participants it would take for something to be called great. Attacking the linguistics over the contents conveyed, and all that.

It sounds like a MIDI to me, perhaps the you could extract it directly from a rom? If you can find an emulated version of the game you should be able to unpack it and it might be there as an independent file.

I'd think otherwise because what the majority of people like in music and call great music would be the only consideration to have. Otherwise we would have a few people saying their type of music is great but not thought so by the majority of others. It's like saying that atonal music is great but it is only MY opinion, not the majorities.

Cannon Fodder, seems there is alot of Amiga games recordings you might find some soundtracks through.
