I think that it's really too bad that art is no longer as great a form of entertainment. I mean, c'mon. Just look at Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc's stuff. It's awesome! Why am I one of the only people who seems to actively enjoy that kind of stuff? Art, I mean.

Anyhoo, the big question is...(drumroll please) "Who is the best artist in the world?" Gaze in shock and horror as our combatants fight a verbal battle defending their favorite artist!

*ahem* Sorry, got carried away. Anywayz, I've told my favorites, so how about you?

    Someone PLEAZE respond!

    No problemo ...

    Sam Francis!

In particular, his 'Whiteness of the Whale'

    His later minimalism is awsome.

    Take care

Others that might come up in my class are Hundertwasser and Kandinsky too.

Bebelina has a good point. Her art is good, that which I've seen so far.

Unfortunately, a famous artist is usually a dead artist.

Don't get any ideas Bebelina. I'd rather you stick around a while longer.

I have to agree with Pollux and Cactus. Dali and Escher are incredibly awesome, too.

I still like Franz Marc and Kandinsky best, though

Jean-Michel Basquait and Andy Warhol's stuff was rather eccentric. Very nice.
