So who will be buying this moving piece of art? If you don't then you suck and deserve to wear and brown paper bag on your head proclaiming your suckage.
I have almost completely given up videogames (they are so expensive, buggy, complicated, and headache induing these days...not worth the effort)..but I will definetly get Gran Turismo 4. I used to play Gran Turismo 3 for hours on end and loved it. I hope my playstation 2 still works after months of inactivity.
Anyone else have fond memories of Gran turismo games?.....Oh how I love those cars I can't afford.
BUT THIS GAME..SELL YOUR SPOUSE OR KIDS IF YOU HAVE TO.
It looks alright, saw some Japanese trailers a few months back. Not sure if I saw real damage there but I saw some things coming off of the cars. AI still looks the same and that's what annoyed me about the GT series. Love the games but hte AI makes is boring and repetitive.
And nothing will take me from HL2

If it wasn't for Gran Turismo I wouldn't have bought a GameShark.. sad but true.
The damn super license tests in GT2 just were too hard to be remotely fun.
I spent my whole summer perfecting every apex and cornering technique with four wheel drives. I also learned that Dodge Viper's really aren't good racers - same goes for all front wheel drive train. The Suzuki Escudo was a beast too.. definitely getting it but afraid I won't get time to play it. I got so many blisters and sleepless nights looking up guides and crap lol, but I was too broke to get a PS2 when GT3 came out so I never played it. Those guys are geniuses for creating the most accurate and fun game in the entire world. And I mean in the history of game making period. I was even going to buy one of those steering wheel thingies for GT just to help me play better in Gran Turismo. My, was I obsessed with mastering that game or what? :D

I especially liked the indy racing in GT3. So realistic how they even programmed the game so drifting helped quite a bit, especially at high speeds. The endurance races are a different gaming experience, sort of undoing the effects of videogames shortening our attention spans, cause if you lose your concentration for one second in a half hour race, you're done for. And yes, the Escudo scares me too. =) Some kid told me he tweaked it to go 1000+ mph. But I told him it was bullshit. There's no way, unless the tires left the ground and the translational velocity of tires increased to the 1000 mph range.. Awesome game.

Well actually there was some way of cheating where you could get your car to go insanely high speeds by bouncing it off the wall at an angle or something like that but I never tried it cos that meant restarting my race. :D
i spent hours tweaking too to get the best acceleration/max speed and handling. My favorite small car was the Audi TT LM I think it was. Endurance races blistered my thumb a lot from squeezing so hard and I even broke the little stick on my controller by pressing it too hard on a turn.
Logically Unsound.. well your name says it.
