What do you guys think of him? I just finished 'The Power and the Glory', which sort of grew on me as I got further in. It took me a few days to get into it, but then I started to really enjoy it. It's funny, because the exact same thing happened when I read 'The Heart of the Matter' (the only other book by him I've read). Then I thought about it some more over the next few weeks and decided I really liked it. His characters are always such sad, pitiful men (at least in those two books). Anyway, this thread has no real purpose, just want to hear some thoughts on him; I've noticed this forum doesn't have too much discussion on books.
