    My girlfriend's dad own a fleet-management company based on GPS & wireless modems. It's really cool because the program he uses to track vehicles, create maps, save data etc was written in BASIC! I didn't believe it until he showed me, it's impressive. They're now working on a java version to put on the web so any client can view all of their fleet stats/locations in real time.
