Google searches

    I wanted to find out the opening times of this museum in Gaydon, so i did a
    google search

    How does one avoid unwanted hits in searches?

    Try to as specific as possible. For example, if you know both the name and the location of the museum, put them together for your search.

    Try "Gaydon Museum opening times". Since it gives a number of results you probably don't want "Filter" it, if you don't want cars in the keyword listing make sure your search becomes "Gaydon Museum opening times -cars".

    Also, make sure you quote the phrase as Stryder has done, ie

    "Gaydon Museum" (Gaydon-Museum will work as well)

    not

    Gaydon Museum

    Both methods return similar results though, with little unexpected content. So you're probably extracting the urine.
