Well its finally over.

I was always suprised to see Colin doing his thing on the television.
He was so bad, but he grew on me. The anti-comic.
I stopped watching SNL because of his awful news skit.
The Tough Crowd show was rarely funny, but as I've posted before. it was mesmerizing to me. Like watching a train wreck.

The format was sort of a Politically Incorrect meets an Archie Bunker or Don Rickles. I liked that they were unafraid be themselves (more or less). Racist, Sexist, clubhouse comics with zingers. His 4 rounds of 'smart' comedy never materialized, but strangely delivered. I was far from a regular but 2 seasons wasn't enough. The final show wasn't too sappy goodbyes, just a group of friends that showed up to commiserate Colins lost job. I liked that during the 2 minute final monologue (where he repetitively mentions his death) the guests and the audience files out. He ends with 'shut up, stupid' to the empty room. Then he seems to adlib about the last friends episode till they cut.
Shut up, Stupid.
That's his comedy.

Still I think I'll miss it, bad as it was.

I agree, first few times I saw it I couldn't believe it was on tv, it was and is so terrible. But something about it is also very watchable, I couldn't stand to miss an episode, even though it might technically be the worst and most unintentionally awkward show ever on television.

If Colin were even slightly more articulate and could speak without tripping over his tongue every other word, he could be quite funny. It was often painful just watching him try to get a sentence out. Sometimes I'd have to sort of interpret what I thought he was trying to say. If he said what I thought he said, most of the time, I laughed.

Man, I'm suprised anybody else watched him.
All you guys just got some buddy points.

I wonder how much drinking was an issue with his delivery.

I would have watched it if anyone ever finished a sentence without being interrupted. The comics weren't surprising in what they said but rarely an opinion was uttered before someone started arguing in the middle and everyone else joining in. The show was like watching a bunch people next to you in restaurant talking loudly and you smiling every once in a while at their lude, boisterious talk.

Why does everyone get so offended with racist or sexist comments or jokes??? THEY ARE JOKES... not to be taken seriously....
