If I had 344 dollars in my wallet I could have as many as many as 344 presidential portraits....

But what is the FEWEST portraits of presidents I could possibly have with 344 dollars ???

(All money is American and all of the bills are modern, there is no trick like having a one dollar bill that doesn't have a picture of Washinton on it) all money is modern and wouldn't raise an eyebrow if you tried to spend it at Wal-Mart

for 344$, you can have a: 3 one-hundred-dollar-bills, 2 twenty-dollar-bills, 2 two dollar-bills.

yeah but your question is misguiding here:

so basically even though you said in beginning that you only had 6 dollars...later on you ask of the possibility of you having 344 dollars.

"I could possibly have with X amount" means you are stating that you got that X amount and the previous statement is reset.
