I didn't take CS , i took Computer Info Systems, which also involves programming.

I believe usually u will need to take 3 levels of C++, may be few more programming course other than C++ and i believe at least 2 calc courses.. correct me if I am wrong..

in CIS..i am taking ...2 levels of C++, and one other like VB, sometimes Cobol. They are not letting Java to be the other one for now.

Computer Science, is pain in the ass. I suggest no one to take it unless you have a very high IQ in logical / mathematical reasoning.

I'm taking CIS as well, in Calgary (devry). I love it so far. I would highly recommend it since it rewards you with a 4 year bachelors degree in 3 years education. The downside is that your holidays are cut short (about 2 months holidays in the whole year). Also, the classes are very small (30 students max in a classroom) which I think is great, because if you need special instructions, you usually get it.

Lots of theory in Comp Sci.

I spose you'll do lots of theory in anything, but discrete maths is not something id be wanting.

Physics is the way :)

Hi, I'm also taking CSI in second year (Ontario). I don't why some people find it difficult, but I'm one of the lucky ones who likes programming.

I also want to study AI, if it's reasonaly but no one is replying to my thread (http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23848) :(
