If god created the earth, then he/she/it was from someplace else first. so is our creator the first alien that encountered earth?

Nah. God originated on Earth.

There are two explanations, so choose which you think is most credible.

God began life as a simple single celled organism and eventually evolved through humans and onto and past super-intelligence. He eventually conquered the limitations of time and the transfer of energy to matter and back. But he was so greedy that he consumed all matter so he could have total energy. Feeling very depressed one day he committed suicide and converted himself back into matter which resulted in the creation of the universe. He of course no longer exists and we must wait until we evolve so we can repeat the evolutionary cycle.

The second explanation is that God is a human created concept, and since humans originated on Earth then it follows that the God concept originated on Earth.

Have fun

or He has always existed, and in creating humans He created life, death, time, etc... There is my post for the month, lol, I havn't had a lot of time to come here and post with finals and all, and I won't have a lot of time due to summerschool. Sooo have fun, don't bash, and always remember that God loves you all, and all of his other magnificant creations. Or for those of you who don't believe in God, your mono-celled ancestors envy you always : ). Sorry couldn't resist. gotta work on controlling my lame jokes.
ta-ta for now.

That's a very anthrocentric approach to take. My own feeling like this - and I've got evidence - is that god was a supercriminal from the planet Megabork IV, who was exiled to a distant planet around an uninteresting star after trying to take over the Commonwealth of Independent Planets. On this planet - which isn't Earth, btw - he invented a weapon designed to destroy the universe. He intended to put it on a timer and travel back in time to when the universe was extinct. However, he read the instructions wrong, and sent the omni-blaster back in time rather than himself. He thus blew up the universe before it existed, causing the big bang. He's still that planet, but I'm not at liberty to tell you where it is.

this thing about god being an alien is very old, and does not mix with the concepts of faith. earth is the 7th planet if you're coming from out of our solar sistem. and on the 7th day he rested. or something like that. i'd tell you to read robert charroux. and cris, if these questions were so simple, we wouldn't have so much religions, don't you think. i liked "contact" a lot too, but there are lots of other things to ask. cheers.
