Finally a religion for me. I love the Greeks:

"After a break of 16 centuries, Greek pagans are worshipping the ancient gods again - despite furious opposition from the Orthodox church."

By the way I prefer to call it ethnic Hellenic faith, instead of Greek mythology....

I especially like the cult of Aphrodite, at one time she was the patron goddess of Cyprus (that is why it is known as the island of Venus*) and temples were devoted to her all over the island. It was mandatory that every single woman on the island had to pass through one of the temples for a while and to offer themselves for sex to any man that went there to worship.
* Venus is the Latin name for Aphrodite.

I'm very pleased to hear this. Astaru (Germanic-Nordic heathenry) is also seeing a pronounced rival in both the US and in European countries. Hopefully, the ways of our ancestors will be restored, and a cultural religion more in line with a rational worldview and good life will replace our current nonsense.

It's time to revive the orgiastic rituals.

Go for it. Dionysus likes it kinky.

May Zeus bless you.

It's time for western man to return to his past and be great again.
It's time to leave the Jews and their groveling guilt.
It's time to be Hellenes once more!!!!

I am too lazy to research it, but how the Roman gods were based on the Greek gods? Did the Romans just steal the ideas and made up new names for them?? After all for every Greek god there is a Roman equivalent...

The original Romans were Greeks.

so the religion is no longer living in captivity (classrooms) alone, but reproducing in the wild once again. this is a sign of the decline of the main competitor for the mental resources in the region, christianity.
