Gamecube or x-box..which to get....

X-Box all the way, sargent!

Gamecube is dying out. I'll be the first to admit that it has some amazing, first quality titles, but X-Box is the better system and has some great games coming out for it.

A year ago, it looked a lot different. The cube had a future because apparantly nintendo was hooking up with some really good third party titles. But things change. And Microsoft is just throwing it's money around trying to sell, sell, sell. I say buy.

If you have a Gameboy Advance though, I'd recommend getting nintendos miniature polygon factory.


As for the playstation 2...it's not really next gen, and I've never had an affinity for it anyways. I'm glad you're not considering it.

I think you're crazy to go with a console, being a console gamer for many, many years (nearly my whole life) not many games compare to the PC ones of today and the ones that are soon to be released. Just spend the money upgrading your beige box and it'll be so worth your while.

BUT if you absolutly must get one of those consoles, go for X Box,the Gamecube just doesn't cut it

 

awwwww crap too late now..oh well...as long games come out for it for another year i am good...i have really cutback on gaming anyway

Might as well get Sonic Adventure 2, that's always a blast. Resi Evil is good for a day or two.

The gamecube is a wasted effort. I actually had higher expections for it, but I think it will be the end of nintendos reign in the console market.

Anyways, Thor is kind of right. PC gaming is much superior. But if you can't afford the constant upgrades then forget about it. XBOX oughta do you just nicely. I would get one myslef. But - My powerful dell (oxymoron?) should hold me off.

 

lol, xbox and its whole 2 games!!!! no, the gamecube has served me excellently with many triple A titles that no other console can say they've got. xbox is obviously the most powerful but it is only in the running because of some good advertising. which most people here seem to have been roped in by. sargentlard you made the right choice if you like games, because the gamecube is the only one with a lot of really good games. don't listen to these sheep, microsoft obviously knows how to appeal to the consumer and that is what everyone is basing their comments off here.

 

I say get the game cube play all the good games like zeald and mario then take it back and get the xbox.

I think in the long run the xbox will come out on top with games and how long it lives.

 

the gamecube is actually really fun, but I'm a big EA sports gamer, and that comes for all 3 consoles, I recommend Sonic Mega Collection, and F-Zero GC when it comes out.
