Think this is professional or immature of them ?
spidergoat 06-26-08, 02:45 PM It's somewhat immature, but it's also appropriate and awesome.
pjdude1219 06-26-08, 02:53 PM immature but funny
Believe it or not many public officials are proud of the STPs. It is true because they are highly technical.
I wonder how many lefties will pay homage to this new monument, by visiting it. ;)
cosmictraveler 06-26-08, 02:58 PM This is foul play. Show's whoever that does it that they are very foolish and arrogent.:(
ElectricFetus 06-26-08, 03:16 PM I'm just pissed they will name anything after him. :p
otheadp 06-26-08, 04:50 PM Unbelievable. Large national libraries, universities and huge military ships are named after presidents, not sewage plants...
Oh, what the liberal scum gets away with in your country. No matter. They only make themselves look like morons. Especially in a few years when Iraq is even better and Bush is vindicated.

First in the states only carriers would be named for a president.
Second you make a point with what you have got.
Third Bush will never be vindicated in Iraq it was always a bad idea that was fucked up. No matter how good it gets it will still not be worth the cost.

This is such misleading bullshit. I live in the S.F Bay Area. And this has nothing to do with the City of Sanfrancisco. This is a private group trying to accumulate enough signatures from the citizens to coerce City Hall to name the sewage plant after Bush. But the City has declined to go along with this petition.
Meanwhile, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, which owns the plant, says it gets the joke but is nevertheless dismayed. It points to the awards it has won for keeping the streets and the ocean clean.
“If you are looking for a place to make a negative statement about the Bush administration’s impact on the environment, this would be the last place to do it,” said spokesman Tony Winnicker.
Read your own article first before posting! Just a suggestion;)
