You have seen the future and a nuclear war means that all computers are wiped of all information, and the only information left is what is written in books (books, especially thick ones, have a good resistance to fire because if there is no oxygen between the pages then it will not burn).

What information do you record for future generations??

Is that because you know so very little?

It's probably going to seem a little corny, because you've seen it in a couple of movies... But I would record all of our wars and all of our pollution. I would want to inform people of what a mess we've made of this world and add my opinions as to how it happened. Tell them about over-population and diseases. Hopefully, post-nuclear waste, their world would be a better society than ours.

Information is always kept in books, DVD's and microfisch so ALL information cannot be wiped out by a nuclear war. SO that means there's plenty of information that will be here so no need to just pick out what you may think is worthwhile.

you give them messages in Hieroglyphics to let them decipher. when they have reached this point they are ready to understand the knowledge of man and his positive acomplishments. the last thing we want anyone to do is start over where we left off.

I would probably only keep Greek history and books on technological marvels. Then I would re-write history in my image, so that people would build my ideal world. Mwa ha ha.

Well obviously the knowledge of the pre-holocaustic era got us there (holocaust), then anything to do with politics, philosophy, religion, and the concept of race, nationalism, etc should be burned in the holocaust. What should be kept is the know-how to do things like farming, industry, computers, etc.

The holy...written by...??? No, no, no...what would they need that garbage for?
