By extension, what is the difference between homosexuality(which many would consider a sexual perversion) and something like furries, or even some other fetish, such as the S&M folks?

Well ok, I figured this was inevitable, even if the thread starter didn't bring it up.

Furry is not people having sex in animal costumes. Given, if you're having sex in an animal costume the chanses are very good that you're a furry, but even furrys are generaly perplexed and freaked by people having sex in animal costumes. Don't believe everything you see on TV.

Imagine if the treckies were more obcessed with thier romulan on klingon erotic slash fanfiction. That is what the furry fandom is. There is nothing inherent about being a furry that means you have to have sex in an animal costume, or spend all your time downloading pornograpy, someof them do (and guess who the reporters want to speak to) . Some people say furry is a sexual fetish in denial, but that depends on what furrys you are talking to. Here are 2 historys of the furry fandom.
