    Anybody see the recent episodes?

I know it's on the chopping block but it keeps getting better.

The quirky 80s retro intro was awesome.

    Fringe 80s Intro

Love the 80s-ish scifi concepts that are all standard things now.

I'm sorry that you feel its getting better for the last episode I watched, last week, it really didn't hold my attention nor was that well done. Watching a woman think about her husband who died and wasn't really dead but living on "the other side" wasn't a big deal to sink ones imagination into. Sorry it is going to be leaving us for in the beginning it was a very interesting show but its writing has somehow gone downhill. To bad they couldn't return to the beginning where it was much better written with allot more imagination and verve.

I thought that in the beginning the show dealt with more quirky phenomenon that made it work. It seems that it is now stuck on a one track mind dealing with the other dimension and what is going on with it. It is stuck in dealing with the same thing over and over instead of moving on and inter spacing that within other stories that are more diverse.

The other dimensions thing is the main point of the show. This was the reason for the weird happenings in our world.

I personally think this show is the best thing on TV right now since they canceled SG universe and caprica

It didn't seem that way to me in the beginning of the show although it was woven in and out of the main story that I watched. The scientist was trying to figure out all sorts of strange things not just this other dimension that now has become the focal point. I just remember shows that I saw weren't always involved with this other dimension but now its there full time.

It was intentionally vague in the beginning.

Abrams sold the story to Fox in advance as being arc heavy and lasting no more than five years. It was always going to be about the coming inter-dimensional war.

I agree the show is getting better. In the beginning I found the "science" to be so absurd in many episodes that it verged on fantasy; but as the show has gone on the character development has allowed me to suspend my disbelief and get into the story.

I still enjoyed the quirky way they were doing things in the first year of the show. Once it became predictable, about the war with the other dimension, I lost all interest in this series and only viewed it rarely. I really do wish they would have kept it more about strange phenomenon that had to be figured out rather than settling on just one of those phenomenon to write about.
