Philippians 2:7-8

He made himself nothing; he took the humble position of a slave and appeared in human form.
And in human form he obediently humbled himself even further by dying a criminal's death on a cross.

Matthew 1:22-23

All of this happened to fulfill the Lord's message through his prophet:
"Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and he will be called Immanuel (meaning, God is with us)."

Ephesians 5:15-16

So be careful how you live, not as fools but as those who are wise.
Make the most of every opportunity for doing good in these evil days.

I'll just give a short note as I know that we are all preparing for festive family times together. Let us all remember the one family member that made the great day of Christmas what it is. Christ, the King, who was humbled so that we might live, should be vaunted as a shinning example in all of our lives. If He has not been held up so, in your life, make Him so now. If He has been, continue and increase. In your daily lives, give care to remember Christ and the reason for His coming and the finished work He did on the cross.

I wish you all a blessed days as we progress toward the remembrance of birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Pray for one another and be faithful as we know that the day of Christ's return approaches.
