Very interesting. My own government is too weak, too greedy for USA trade, to even consider doing the right thing. France and Germany, however, are at least on trying in diplomatic circles.
This comming war is for oil, remapping, and hegemony, and has nothing to do with any kind of disarmament or "weapons of mass destruction". Our establishment want to become "the leader of the world" even if the world does not want it. From geopolitical point of view, USA is an island, while the Earth's mainland is from Spain to China. Pushing for world domination is idiotic if not criminal, and totally contravenient of any international treaties, or common sense. Well France sees itself as Le Grand Nation,it is trying to take over control of the EU,it is the only EU country that ignores the laws of the EU & does whatever it wants,including blowing up boats in other nations ports when it suits them. France is only looking for what is good for France. So don't take any notice of anything France puts forward.
presumably, peace keepers would be voluntarily admitted to Iraq and would not be there only to ensure Iraqi compliance with UN resolutions, whereas in an invasion they would be there to eliminate the Iraqi government.
